About Cambridge English certificates

CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXAMS

In 2011, Cambridge University established a network of certification centres in Slovakia. One of them is our centre in Žilina, and the University of Žilina through the Institute of Lifelong Learning, is the only university in Slovakia with this status.
Based on the Cambridge Assessment English certificate, the Institute of Lifelong Learning of the University of Žilina is an AUTHORIZED CENTER FOR CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS AND ASSESSMENT with permission to conduct Cambridge exams for its own students and external applicants for Cambridge English certificates with worldwide validity. The aim of the centre is to offer a complete service related to Cambridge English exams.
The Institute of Lifelong Learning provides preparation for the B2 First (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE) exams, and also conducts exams at these levels. Teaching takes place on the premises of the Institute of Lifelong Learning, in the centre of Žilina. It is a huge advantage for future candidates of these globally recognized language exams that their preparation takes place directly at our institution, which is authorized to conduct these exams. Our teaching team has been specially trained for individual types of exams.

CAMBRIDGE PREPARATION CENTRES

Our preparation centres

Since 2013, the Institute of Lifelong Learning UNIZA has started a cooperative effort with three schools in organizing Cambridge English exams. We are gradually expanding to include other preparation centres (currently, there are 7 of them), and in cooperation with them, we manage to prepare more candidates for the Cambridge English exams.
The preparation centres of the Institute of Lifelong Learning of the University of Žilina – the Authorised Centre for Cambridge University Press and Assessment offer candidates the opportunity to prepare for the Cambridge English exams. The exams are held under the supervision and administration of the Institute of Lifelong Learning of the University of Žilina - Authorised Centre for Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
